Labour Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung was discharged from Ramathibodi Hospital yesterday afternoon after being admitted last Friday of a subdural hematoma, or bleeding in the brain, said the hospital director.
Assoc Prof. Dr. Surasak Leelaudomlipi, Ramathibodi Hospital director, said Chalerm recovered without complications and was allowed to go home.
Yesterday, the social media networks were abuzz earlier rumors that Chalerm had died of inflammation in the brain, but Pheu Thai Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit said these rumors had spread confusion.
He said he had visited the Minister of Labour and found that it was still strong. Prompong said Chalerm's advisers told him that the minister had been discharged yesterday afternoon.
